Neal: [00:00:00] An opportunity with AI to give full support, 360 support to any business owner to run and automate their business. And that's almost our starting place. We are trying to build what we call your superhuman business partner. Um, and we believe a fully automated business is possible, and that's what we are building for.

I'll talk you through kind of the product. I'm gonna jump in now, um, and present a bit, but just before I bring it up. There's probably, for the most part two use cases for AI right now across a lot of businesses. One is, um, chatting back and forth to chat GBT, uh, or anthropic and trying to get what you want.

And in some ways that's a bit like wrestling a bear. Your business changes all the time. Your knowledge changes. You're having to retell it. What, what your business is about. The second part, the second version. Oh, somebody's not on mute. There we go. Um, the second, uh. Um, approach is to point LLMs at what is essentially your shit show of [00:01:00] business documentation, which is largely done by global companies.

And then just hope that you get what you need. And surprise, surprise, it doesn't work. And the problem is not necessarily the l lm, the problem is actually the way that businesses are organized traditionally, um, and use their knowledge and known is about knowledge. We called the company known because. The future of AI is about how you build, manage, and deploy your knowledge across your business.

So I'm gonna jump in and, and show you kind of how it works. Um, take you on a bit of a tour and give you some kind of use cases, um, and we can go, go from there. So the first thing to understand is that we think about, um, knowledge differently. I'm gonna come back to the known assistant in a second, but I just wanna show you very briefly.

The knowledge part of known. Now, the way that a lot of platforms are doing, um, knowledge is that they'll ask you to upload your URLs to your webpages or add load of documentation into this space. That ultimately is exactly the same [00:02:00] use cases as global companies are using, which is you're just pointing it at a later random documents and hoping you get back what you need.

We take a fully AI native approach and we think of business building from a block perspective. Each of these is what we call a smart block, and it's a block of information around your business that once you develop an ad, you can lock in and then the AI will always reference. And understand, and this is what ultimately ends up giving you accurate output and guidance.

Um, these smart blocks come simple form from everything from what's your business sector. I'm right now in a gym, no one works for every different sector. We've got gym owners, psychologists, um, startups, you name it. It's completely flexible. Um, and this is a gym in Sheffield, in the uk. Um, and. These smart blocks can be simple or they can be more complex, such as building out your target audience of, of your business.

And as you go through this, you can generate these with ai. If you don't have it, um, if you have one, you can, and this one's generated with open ai. You can [00:03:00] also generate with anthropic. If you have one already, you've got your target audience. You can just drop it in, you can add it. But the key thing though is that known will stack these, uh, blocks of knowledge together to give you accurate output and guidance all the way through.

Um, and when you build one. So this has been developed by OpenAI, your audience interests. You can edit it. You can tweak it, you can save it, you can do what you want with it. But the most important thing is that once you set it live. The assistance and what we call create mode, where you can create assets, will reference this single source of truth for your business.

And that's really what we are building, which is to enable you to always get accurate output, deploy your company fully with ai, uh, every single step. Um, give me do shout if you've got any questions. Um, happy to answer kind of as we go through and definitely let me know. I see, uh, Damien, good to see you.

Thanks. From Ottawa scale and EdTech company, this will be relevant for you. We've actually. Got a lot of startups in a similarish um, space, um, scaling [00:04:00] those kind of businesses using Nome, so. This knowledge system, and it is a system is connected behind the scenes and that enables you to then manage it and use it across the product.

I'm gonna give you a really simple example now, so I'm gonna jump into the known assistant and this, the known assistant knows your single source of truth, of your business all of the time. And then you can also add any documents here for it to use. But it's really ancillary documents. These aren't documents that.

Act as your knowledge base. Um, but these are extra things that you can use. So here I'm just gonna ask it to prioritize my tasks for the date.

And you'll see here it's gonna pop up. Tell me that it's working in a second. I'm in the basement, by the way. I've got two young kids. There we go. So the internet might be a little slow 'cause I've shut the door, but this is working and it's looking at my tasks and looking across the product and saying, these are the things you need to do today.

And then the most important thing though, is it's giving me [00:05:00] rationale based on the knowledge it knows about my business. And so immediately as a small business owner or, or as an entrepreneur, I've got a partner that's understands my business all of the time and can tell me what to do. So one of the things it's told me what to do is update our brand positioning.

It can see here we've got this saved as a task update, our brand positioning, and that we need to do it. It's given me rationale of what to do next. So we'll jump out into our knowledge and we'll go and actually work on our brand positioning. So the knowledge is built into stacks. These blocks are group into stacks.

You've got 'em across. All different areas, traditional areas of the business, such as brand and product where you update your product list, et cetera. If you've got a subscription model, it's there. And then we've also got stacked across every different, um, sector as well. So I'm gonna just jump into the brand positioning or I can hear somebody else's, uh, not on mute.

There we go. Um, and this. This brand positioning for the gym in Sheffield, it's all about getting people to the outdoors. [00:06:00] Adventuring. For those of you that don't know, Sheffield is the climbing city in the uk. Um, it's got the rocks on its doorstep, the peak district national park. That's what this gym is about.

But we're gonna update our brand positioning. And when we are working in these block environments, we're working with the known assistant again, the known assistant exists across the product and it has access to all the same knowledge. So that's your knowledge of your business, that single source of truth.

The world's knowledge via open AI and Anthropics APIs. And then, um, the knowledge of what you are working on right now. So we are gonna ask it. I like using this as an example 'cause it's quite extreme. How could we make our positioning more punk? And it's gonna come back with rationale because it knows what we're working on.

We're working on our brand positioning. It's gonna come back with rationale for how we could infuse punk into the ethos of our gym. And it is probably gonna give us a bit of a sense of the different areas we could work on and, and you can fully collaborate here across all different areas. We've [00:07:00] seen users building subscription models with the assistant and then dropping it into the subscription model block based on their desired profit margin, based on their costs, and then setting it live and going, creating the content to deploy it.

But immediately you are working with the assistant and fully collaborating. And then I'll just show you. So as it goes through, it's giving us how we could be more on punk positioning, what we could do, how it can impact the business. And what we'll get it to do is we'll get it to rewrite a new positioning statement in a second.

Here we go. So write a positioning, oh, sorry, I'm an ex journal. I have to always sort my typos out statement on this. It's gonna come back with a positioning statement for us. Now, you might wanna shorten it. You might wanna set like a certain length, that's fine. You can edit, et cetera. But you'll see here it's going through and setting a nice positioning statement for us.

And then what we are gonna do is we're going [00:08:00] to drop it in. And you know, that's too long for me, but I'm not gonna shorten it. Now you could go back and refine it, but this block here, we're gonna drop this in. It's gonna change. And you'll see that our brand positioning has changed now in the eyes of the assistants across the product and the eyes of create mode where you can create your assets based on all your knowledge system.

The direction of our company has just changed immediately, and we've shifted our approach and we are giving you full collaborative control. This is really about human in the loop. Now if you wanted to, you could jump in, you could edit it, you could tweak it, you could save it. But it's fundamentally changed the way that our product is, um, viewed by.

All of the live content and assistance You'll see here though, what it's also done is it's told us that other areas of the business are dependent on this brand positioning, and therefore we're gonna need to think about that strategy and make some changes. You'll see it's gonna tell us that we've updated it and we could re-get this back on strategy because what we want is a single source of truth where everything's connected by [00:09:00] ai.

So I'm gonna go back and for those of you that work in the coding space. Or, you know, in the startup space, the way we've structured this is running a business and building a business in future is really gonna be about semantic control. Um, I thought it was interesting, Reid Hoffman from LinkedIn was talking about this today, the future of company control is gonna be about how you talk to your business, and that's the world we're moving towards.

And what I'm gonna do is, I'm actually just gonna revert to the old version, so I'm gonna go back. And that's gonna revert back to our old version. And we've back and forth and we've gone back to our old version. And in the eyes of, um, all the assistance and everything across the product, we're back on where we were before.

Now, why this knowledge system is important is not just working with the assistance, but if you want to create something with knowns, create mode, we are building a system that gives you accurate AI output based on that knowledge, and as a result, you don't get hallucinations. So I wanna show you now.

Write an email to [00:10:00] our members. Outline. Our membership tiers include, oh sorry. Include a 10% off discount for the top tier this month for we'll put upgrading to the top tier this month Now. When you're in create mode, you can select a different model. So open AI, anthropic, we're about to add a couple of others.

You can, um, select an assistant that's got pre-trained knowledge of, of the type of output you are looking for. Um, so for this we'll choose content writer. And you'll see here the knowledge quality is high. And this is one of the fundamental things is keeping that, um, knowledge system structured in a way that you are always getting good output.

I'm gonna select content writer. What's happening now is this is referencing our single source of truth so we don't have to worry about [00:11:00] hallucinations because what we're gonna get back is accurate to the knowledge system that we've built. This isn't going and referencing random webpages, hoping it's gonna pull out the right piece of information.

We didn't have to write a long prompt. You'll notice that because we believe that working with AI should feel like you are working with just an employee. You should just be able to give a command. You shouldn't have to give long prompts. You can give direction if you want. You can make changes, but we're trying to make this as seamless as possible.

So you'll see here it's got all the tiers, um, the value proposition to each tier, what you get. This is all stored in the membership and subscription, um, stack. It's got that special offer upgrade and save 10%. It's basically good to go. Um, you can edit. So again, you've got full control. So we'll jump in. You can make changes, you can edit.

But then again, because the known assistant is here and it's got access to all that knowledge and it knows what it just created, we can just say, make this shorter. And as a result, we're just working with it like an employee basically. And that's what a superhuman business partner and I, I, [00:12:00] I should be. So our users are in here creating everything from partnership documents, operating manuals, you name it, across their entire business, every different area.

Um, they're building it within create mode. Um, and then you can replace again. So we can always drop this, drop this shorter version in and we'll replace it and it would get dropped in there. Um. And then everything gets a headline gets automatically tagged. It's all AI native. It should feel seamless, and then it's all searchable.

So you can see other team members have created different things. Um, we've got that one there. We can come back to it later. And everything we've created as a business is all sortable and built on those tags that have been automatically done with ai. So that's how Create Mode works, and this is the key to having a knowledge system, I think.

One of the most important things about AI is that a lot of people don't realize this is about your knowledge and it's only as good as your knowledge output. And that's the one of the [00:13:00] things that if you look at the likes of copilot, et cetera, people are understanding is that, um, you can't just point an LLM at 20,000 documents and hope you're gonna get the right output.

You need a structured approach. And so with this, we're giving you full control. It's full human in the loop. Um, and as a result, you can generate and create everything you need. So that's how create Mode works. Um, a couple of other things that, that are worth noting is that when you're across the product, if you are working on something, and I think there's, there's a couple in here, so I'll just go back to this brand positioning.

One of the things we've realized working with our users is that. AI will often crank out a lot of amazing ideas that you don't wanna lose. Um, so you're working on your brand positioning. It comes up with a new idea that you think, ah, actually that's quite a good or new idea. We might wanna employ that.

You can drop that into notes. Then notes are all automatically categorized, um, and sorted for you to come back and work with the assistant later. So one of the things we know when you're on your own working with AI [00:14:00] is that you will get a lot of great ideas that you're not yet ready for. Um, all of these are automatically sorted and soon you'll just be able to talk to the assistant and they'll pull them back and you can work directly on them.

So that's kind of, um, how, how Notes works, and. We are trying to make this as seamless as an experience as possible, and I think Amy did it right. It's like an operating system and a new type of operating system. And a good way to think about where known fits is that if you've got your CRM and your CMS.

Known as the center point that you control all the knowledge and output with, with ai. And that's what we're building towards. And we call it like a knowledge system at the moment in the, it's the central point and we believe in the long run, you're not gonna go to those platforms. You're gonna automatically deploy things, agents will be deployed and execute.

You'll sit within your knowledge system and control your business, um, and talk to it. So I wanna show you a couple other ways that, that this can come to life. So, you know, here, we've, we've asked it, you know, we've asked for our prioriti, prioritize our tasks. [00:15:00] Um, with these assistants, like I mentioned, you can upload documents.

So one of the things we've got uploaded here is who our new joiners are. So, um, we'll ask who are our new joiners? Sorry, you have to listen to me talking through while I write in, um, March, who are our new joiners in March. And the assistant, and again, AI should really feel seamless in our eyes, is gonna go off and look and see who that potentially is.

And you'll see again, it's working. And it's working in the background. And for anyone wondering, we use multiple different models together to, to add the tooling capability. Oh, it's, hang on. Newbar joiners in March, uh, 2025. Oh, let me check again. What new joiners do we have in March? Oh, do we have, we'll try that.

I might not have named it March 21, 25. This feature's just in beta at the moment, so we might get the odd little bug, but should come back with that. We'll double check. I. It's not getting it. So let me double check [00:16:00] client at my end. Who joined us March, 2025. Oh, there we go. Weird. Um, it should normally reference that for some reason it's not.

Uh, yeah, there we go. So we'll try, oh, what was that? If we already have a brand voice, we be out using ai, what's the best way to leverage that knowledge and port it over to known to continue to build on that? So that's a really good question. So as you go through these blocks, you're gonna get multiple.

Options you can generate with ai, uh, with ai, either anthropic or um, uh, open ai or you can add the knowledge you've already got. And one of the things that I think a lot of people have found really powerful is actually breaking that knowledge out and working through it step by step. So if you've already got a brand voice, you've already got a mission and vision, you can just add that straight away.

Um, and as soon as you do, it's locked in. Um, and then it's referenceable across the product and usable in, in any way that you see fit. So I'll give you a really good example actually. Uh, if we just jump back into [00:17:00] create mode, you know, once you've got that mission and vision, all of a sudden you can say, write a, write an employee onboarding document for a new front, front desk employee and outline their role.

And our brand and, um, what they need to do to deliver on it. Now, in this environment, we might choose a potentially different, um, we could choose a different model or we could choose a different, uh, system. We'll choose, I think maybe the chief operating officer, um, and they'll go through and it should just, there we go. Immediately to my point, if you've already got that brand, once you add it, whether it's the brand voice, um, whether it's the mission and vision, it's gonna outline that in everything you do [00:18:00] moving forward. Um, and as a result, I. You're gonna be able to action it straight away.

And what we found across, um, our different user base across different companies is one of the things they found most powerful is sharing the knowledge of the founders with the rest of the team and immediately making everybody able to be on brand, um, and execute. Uh, as far as like whether it's strategy or brand voice or anything, it's immediately there and actionable across all different areas.

And I should say as well, like when you are working within known. You've got a couple of things. Number one, you can run as many brands as you want, so you've got a lot different brands here. Number two, you can add as many team members as you want. So you can see we've got four here. You can fully collaborate and when you're collaborating, it's incredibly powerful 'cause you can make one change to a block, you decide you're gonna change to a block and immediately it's gonna change across the product for every single other team member.

Um, you can also set block level permissions. Um, and we'll talk about two of these and then we'll [00:19:00] come on to the third one in a minute. So. We have editor permissions. You can update, you can edit business knowledge, and then you just have pure create mode permissions. And with create mode. For example, we had an 18-year-old, um, intern who joined for a period, gave him create mode access.

He can immediately create any emails that we need for the business or any articles or anything. We want employee documents, outreach, you name it. He doesn't need to know anything immediately. He can do that. We've just had a new employee join to help us with growth straight away. Within a day. He's up and running and he's generating everything he needs because the knowledge of the business is all stored in that environment.

The other thing I would wanna show just for a second is activity. And so because you have that knowledge system locked in, um, one of the most powerful things is that the knowledge system can then be leveraged in different ways. What you'll see here is we've immediately got our tasks, we've talked about that the assistant can look at the tasks, it can update the tasks.

We've got AI powered news, and this is about as niche as it gets, like depending on your business. [00:20:00] This is a gym in Sheffield in the uk. What we are doing here is we're taking your business knowledge and combining it with AI powered news to deliver bespoke news for your business so that you know what's going on in your sector or area.

And this is incredibly niche. We have farms using it, and it's the most niche. niche news available to them. Um, you'll see everything that everybody's deployed over the team. So you've got that in latest updates. You can also, if you're using Stripe, and I can't show you this 'cause it's not a live company, but if you're using Stripe, you can connect your Stripe account and the system will analyze your sales data every 24 hours and give you AI analysis of what to do when, um, and, and things to be aware of, whether that's churn, et cetera.

And then you can also, and I'm just gonna switch to a different business here.

You can also in this environment connect your Google analytics, which for a lot of people as a black hole. Um, and [00:21:00] we're trying to make this, the operating system you come to here, we've got the Google Analytics widget. So what you've done is you've connected your Google Analytics and then the AI will analyze this every 24 hours and tell you things to watch out for.

And so here, for example, we've got full analysis of what to know, what's happening with our, um, website, the top, top pages, et cetera, et cetera. Um, all there every 24 hours ready for you to use, um, and action. So there's a question. Is there a free trial available? We have 50% off trial. It's, um, 49 bucks for the first month.

You get access to all of the features. I think one of the things that's interesting, um, I know obviously the audience here is really invested in, in the AI space. One of the things that, that we've realized and a lot of founders have realized in this space is that, um, the traditional product led growth approach that.

We've worked on for a long time, you would give like a free trial. We had that initially free trial restricted features. Um, we found actually that the problem with AI is [00:22:00] that that limits your experience with the product. And you're seeing this more and more across AI products now, which is that people are, um, opening the doors completely, but just giving a paid trial.

Um, so you know it's 50% off. You get access to open ai. Um. And Thropic, you've got all those models you can leverage. You've got all of the features and functionality we've got, um, that's all there, um, and accessible and it's just 50% off for the first month. Um, there's a good question from from Jason, um, Salesforce and other APIs, we are just about to add integrations.

We've got integrations like Slack and Google. Um, we're about to add integrations in and integrations out. Um, I'll probably talk to Amy and see if we can come back and show those in the next couple of weeks because, um, we are doing, uh, a major launch of some big features that I'd love to kinda show the community, um, when we first get them in beta.

Um, and that will be in very much in that space. Yes, because you, you shouldn't have to be jumping between platforms like anymore. We use known to run our own company. And all the features [00:23:00] you see, we've built, we've used them. We then ship them to our customer base. Um, we're, as a result, we're a small team.

We don't intend to grow because we don't believe that necessarily we have to. Um, we believe in the power of actually automating small teams. So part of that is how we integrate into those other platforms. And like I said, like medium term, um, I think you will get to a point where. You're not going to CMSs.

You're not going to CRMs. Um, and yeah, that's, I think from Vivec, you know, it's, it's a lot. It adds up, um, a lot of those platforms. And I think one of the thing that. Um, you see is that people are porting their knowledge across all these platforms. They're talking to one, they're talking to another. For us, we're in the knowledge game and it doesn't sound sexy, but the knowledge management and distribution is, is in many ways the future of kind of ai and that's the platform we're building and, and why, why we're calling, calling it known as well.

Keep the questions coming. These are great. Um, I wanna jump in and show you a couple of others. I'm just gonna check, check the [00:24:00] time. I know we've only got an hour, so, um, I'm gonna jump back into the assistant. And I'm gonna ask it quickly here, um, and we'll just make sure everything's working fine. Um, we'll say we're in a design business right now.

I've just switched to a different one. What should we consider about the TC company RFP? And unless we've got a major bug in the background, which is possible, sometimes platforms go down, but hopefully, hopefully not. Um, you can see the assistance working. It should be going off looking at our files. Um, and it's looking at, it is found an RFP, which we've added, which is TNC co.

It's an A company. This is a designer. They've got an RFP in. And what I wanna show you here is the power of your own knowledge when leveraged in this environment because. Straight away. This is looking at that RFP and it's also looking at our business knowledge all of the time. And as a result, what is coming back with the response is completely accurate to us and what [00:25:00] we should consider.

Um, and so it's giving us a full overview. Now what we'll do is I wanna just jump out and I'll come back here in a second, but for this designer, they've added the agency stack. And just to show you quickly, like. Sorry, my chat's there. There we go. You've got all these different stacks available to you, so depending on your business, you can add the relevant stacks.

If there's one that's missing for you, reach out. Um, and we'll add it. We, we will give you the ability to add your own soon. Um, there's just a few technical things we're working on in the space that enable you to make sure that it's always a single source of truth. But they've added the agency stack. And one of the things they've done as a result is if anyone's worked in the agency space, they've got a scope of work outline of how they structure their scope of works.

This is it, right? And so we've got this saved. You can see here milestone one, milestone and T milestone three. And then we'll jump back into that system. And it's given us an overview of of TNC Co RFP. So let's say we're responding to the RFP, we we're doing an SOW, um, and we'll say create the SOW, um, for [00:26:00] TC Co.

A company, um, as per their RFP and, um, our SOW format. It's a slightly English sentence, but hopefully that'll be fine. Um, and then what it's gonna do is it's looking at that RFP. TNC cosent us, but it's also looking at our stored SOW format and as a and all of our functionality. So it is talking about here our products that we offer, where that is in the scope of work, the deliverables, the timeline, et cetera.

The milestones, you'll see the milestones here, how we do them. Done in seconds. So we've got designers going from zero to full scope of work in a matter of seconds. But the most important thing is that it's referencing their knowledge, the knowledge they've added, and it's all contained in one place as a knowledge system.

And then we could say also like, you know, what could we, what should, well, we consider [00:27:00] about scope creep. Which is a classic, if you've ever worked with clients about potential or are a client, um, on this project, and again, now we are collaborating with a business partner. This is the most important thing for us, is we wanna feel like you've got superhuman business partner in your team.

It's giving us a full overview of things we need to be aware of so that we're up to speed and the potential dangers of what we're working on. Um. We're good. So this gives you a sense of like how important that underlying knowledge system is because of that single source of truth. Incredible things are possible in seconds and we don't have to go back and, um, ell the information.

But also you haven't seen me write like a 10 line prompt. I've written one line commands as if I'm talking to an employee and that's how in our view, AI should feel. So we'll put, um, add a task. To follow up on the [00:28:00] SOW next week for a call.

And what you'll see, and again, my internet's a little bit slower 'cause I'm downstairs. There you go. There's the task. It's added to our task manager. Um, and straight away you'll see the assistants popped up and you can see the assistant in there. And it's added the task for us. It's got control of the product.

So we're also adding over the next couple of weeks a lot of other functionality to this. Um, we've spent a fair bit of time building a product that is consistent, is accurate, and then also enables us to actually, um, start to control our business by talking to it. And that's what we believe is, is the future of kind of AI and, and semantic control of companies.

So yeah, that's how this works. Um, I wanna show you now something if. If, if anybody works in the services business or has clients, um, do then like shout because the next thing I'm about to demo, I think is, is in our mind, like the first nugget of showing what's possible when you start to distribute and [00:29:00] control, um, this content.

So I'm gonna jump now. Imagine we've won this piece of business. I'm now gonna jump into a TC company. We've added it as a client and as part of your subscription, you can run five projects, um, within known, so they could be five businesses. So we've got entrepreneurs who are running 2, 3, 4 businesses within known.

And then they could also be a rebrand. You could be have your current business, you're running in known, you wanna rebrand it, you wanna make it fully punk. You want to go through and change everything. You can add that as a second business. You can rebrand it until you get it to a point where you're ready for it, but you've got the ability to add multiple businesses.

So five as part of your base subscription. And then on top of that, um, if you are working with clients, let's say here we've got TC company, we've added the client. On top of that, what we've also got here is the ability to, um, add client mode. And so client Mode is a fully white label version of known, um, which you can deliver to your clients, um, to give them an [00:30:00] AI powered dashboard in a matter of seconds.

So I'm gonna show you kind of how that works now. So we've added a logo for this designer, um, and we've chosen some colors that reflect their brand. And then what we're gonna do is select the blocks that we want the client to access. So if you've ever worked with clients, one of the, or been a client, one of the hardest things is like the onboarding process, um, is often like hard work.

It takes ages and it's always like set pieces of information that you can gather. We wanna make that seamless as possible. So the first thing we're gonna choose in client mode is which blocks we want the clients to see. So all the way through to product list. Then we're gonna jump down here and we're gonna activate the dashboard and I'm gonna turn a couple of these things off.

Uh, just to start with. So we are gonna just, we're gonna give them access to create mode. 'cause a lot of the issues, if you're a web designer for example, um, you might need your client to create content. We have HR advisors who need their clients to create job descriptions. We'll keep create mode turned on, and then the client's gonna get sent an [00:31:00] email.

And I'm just gonna switch to a different window and show you what they then see when they, when they drop in. So, gimme one sec and please, yeah, keep shouting if there's any questions, Markham's, uh, in the chat as well. So we're, we're happy to answer. I'm gonna jump in here. Here we go. So if you can see my screen, um, this is, and yeah, this for if you are freelance or you're an agency, this feature like.

Gets you from zero to a hundred really, really quickly. So this is what the client drops into. It feels like Typeform, it looks a bit like Typeform. All they're doing is now adding that information about their business and on your side, that knowledge is immediately populating in your blocks so that you can then.

Jump in and out, edit, update, change their strategy, create content, create assets, whatever you need. You've immediately got that information within, um, within your side. And then what you've done is you've given them a full white label. You'll see the logos there. AI [00:32:00] powered dashboard. We've got a quick share link, so we've added a meeting link for this client so that if we have a regular meeting with them, it's there.

But we've also given them access to create mode. So if they need to jump in and create content, you've set the strategy, you've worked with them on it, they can now create content to their heart's content. It's all there. But what's more is we can also within create mode. I'm gonna turn on a couple of things.

I'm gonna turn on the tasks widget and I'm gonna turn on the dashboard assistant. And then I'm gonna jump back and jump back into the dashboard and just give it a quick refresh. It should refresh. There you go. Straight away the other widgets have popped up. There's the tasks that we've set the client and then we've also got them access to an AI assistant 24 7 all within our brand that has access to their entire business knowledge, um, as part of the knowledge system that we've built out with them.

Also access to the, um, you know, the world's information [00:33:00] via the APIs. And as a result, now this assistant gives them 24 7 support and it's all under the white label brand of the um, client. And so here you've seen who's our target audience. This target audience has been set by the designer or the consultant.

It's there straight away, available to them. How should we communicate it? Whatever questions they have, they can now talk directly to this assistant, um, and, uh, get that support. Good question from Steph. Um, much more visual design beyond text. So just, just to give you a sense of where we're going on that.

Um, we will integrate visuals. We've set it all up. One of the things that you know, we are, um, careful of is that known is about your knowledge and controlling your knowledge. So we want to control. From your perspective, give you control. Of your brand, hex codes, your colors, your logos. Make sure that wherever you are creating something, it's all on brand.

That's the world we wanna be in. We don't wanna move into the Canva editing space, et cetera. [00:34:00] Um, because there's like a fine line, there's better tools for that. But if you're connecting to Canva, we wanna make sure you're doing it based on your knowledge system. 'cause in the very short term. A lot of your creation's obviously gonna become automated.

Um, so that's the world we are moving into. Um, and we are gonna turn on some visual creation, uh, over the coming months, but it's gonna be very specific. You know, it might be in like the ideation phase, it might be for mood boarding, but what it, what we don't wanna step into because, um, you know, there's great places doing incredible AI editing is is the editing software.

But we wanna make sure when you do it. It's all based on the knowledge that you've built, how unknown, and it makes your life a lot easier. So I hope that answers your question. The other thing I would add is that, um, and I'll jump back into, uh, the other version. Hang on one sec. Double just jumping back across.

So you should be able to see my screen now. The other thing I would add is that we've already set up, um, these assets within create mode. [00:35:00] Uh, they're set up already to take. Images, if you've got a header image for email, um, and then deploy it to your email sender. We're gonna bring bringing that out over the next couple of months as well.

Um, but it's not quite there yet. But if you join, um, give us a shout. Let us know. You're from Ben's bikes and we'll put you in the beta, um, group and give you early access to a lot of the features that we've got coming. Um, 'cause there's a lot of great stuff kind of coming out the gate over, over the next couple months.

So that gives you a sense of kind of how you can use this when working with a client. And I just want to like. Reiterate, like all these blocks, a lot of them were added by the client, but then we can add more, um, as and when we need. Um, and so then it immediately works for the client's assistant. The clients create mode.

It's all there and, and all available to them. Um, you can add as many companies as want. Like I mentioned. It's super simple. It's super easy. Team members wise, you can have as many team members as you want. I think one of these brands we have, like 14. You can add as many, many as you want. Um, there's an extra cost per seat.

So we [00:36:00] do, we pay per seat on that sense. And there's currently no limit on creation. So you can create as much as you want. You can talk to this assistant as much as you want. Um, and we really want you to get to a place where like you feel like you've got full support from an AI system and knows and understands your business.

And that's how our goal, we're actually redoing our own website, um, currently. And. All the copy that's built on it or coming on it soon is all done via working directly with the assistant, um, in a matter of seconds because we're just back and forthing with the assistant. Um, and as part of that release, we're bringing in a couple of things as per the question earlier about integrations to enable you to deploy via create mode content to website, email.

Everywhere else, um, so that you can immediately just create control and send in in one place. Let me know if there's any more kind of questions coming. Um, yeah, so just otherwise, and also I think, uh,

Amie: one, um, detail, unless. I dunno if you mentioned it, but I don't wanna gloss over. It is like when you, when [00:37:00] you have different blocks that like interact with each other, like you have your brand positioning and maybe your marketing strategy, like when you change your brand, like your, um, positioning it all, it updates that positioning right throughout the other materials, which is super helpful.

Neal: Yeah, that's exactly right. So the, the reason we've done that is because, you know, ultimately, and this is again coming very, very soon, this one, so if you do join, we'll put you straight on the beta list for this. You should be able to talk to that assistant, and the assistant should be able to go and update those blocks for you.

And if you make a change, for example, to your target audience, it will then ripple through the other blocks that are related to your target audience. And this is about that control, um, and full control of the company. So, like we showed earlier, I think these ones are a bit out of sync. You can see that these are out of sync.

All we need to do to bring this back on sync is, is regenerate it. And I should say actually in these environments, there's a load of other functionality that's kind of hidden that you can fix spelling a grammar, it's a fully AI native kind of product. Um, [00:38:00] and but to bring that back on sync, we'll just rerun it.

Then we should see that just drop away once it, once it reruns it, 'cause it kinda bring it back onto, onto the sync of our, our strategy. Because if you are one person and you're controlling the entire company, we need to make sure that everything stays on track and all your messaging stays on track and all your directions stay on track.

So that's how, that's how this essentially works. That's a great point.

Amie: Yeah. And one thing I love about this too is, um, as someone who kind of, uh, you know, I freelance and, and work across different parts of a business. Uh, I can't tell you how many different teams are asking for like brand guidelines or something, and it's just been, and then you go in between all of these mo like you have all these tabs open and pull out and chat and stuff, and like you're trying to like create one.

So like this is awesome in the sense that it makes you like centralize it because it's one thing if I'm doing it for like a side project. But like for your actual business that like pays the bill type of thing. Um, it's just [00:39:00] really helpful to not have it scattered in between your random chats and projects, um, in all of these tools.

So, um, it's also a great, I feel like accountability in terms of, um, everyone knowing like the gaps in the business and of the knowledge gaps really of like, okay, we still don't have this filled out and so like, we can't do X, Y, Z because we don't have these blocks filled out.

Neal: That's, yeah, that's so, so true because I think a lot of people, in my experience, I, I was very lucky in the last part of my career 'cause I worked across every department of major companies.

So you start to see all the different issues across the areas and how things connect. But most people are often operating within a siloed environment. And one of the great things is you can get people into know, and there can be two different team members from different parts of the business. And within knowing, they're looking at it going, oh, I understand the areas we've gotta fill out.

Now, I actually showed, I had a, you know, we, we, we are targeting smaller business owners. We believe that AI automation at scale is only gonna happen if you [00:40:00] focus on smaller business owners because legacy companies are just really just papering over the cracks using ai. Um, but one of the things I think that we.

We found is that we're actually starting to get bigger companies using it. And I actually demoed and they signed up immediately to a, a large, a very large like British High Street brand. And as soon as they saw this page, everybody in the room went, oh. 'cause it was like 25 documents that they've normally got.

Their audience segmentation, they're like brand positioning. All in one place and all connected. And it was kind of eyeopening for me because you forget that like, you know, a lot of businesses it is a mess. And whether it's tabs or whether it's like documents everywhere, it is a mess. So having it all in one place makes it both actionable for the team, but actionable from a content perspective.

Um, you know, I, I always found with big companies, you can't guarantee that Dave in the email department can send an email that's on strategy. Absolutely no way, like 25 people have probably gotta check it. Whereas within known, you can guarantee straight [00:41:00] away that it's, it's pulling on your knowledge system.

And so one of the things we find really empowering is that small business owners now are doing things that global companies aren't with known because they can use it as that kind of superhuman business partner because of the knowledge. The other thing I would add about it is that yes, you can do marketing, but you know, you can do all different types of, um, work within your business.

So. We have an operations block with, I think, like, you know, people have company workflows in here. They have their staffing, their contact details, all of this kinda stuff. Um, their fixed costs. Uh, we've seen people pricing their subscription models with the assistant based on the desired profit margin, based on the travel time of their employees to jobs, ones in construction, employees to jobs based on the average time it would take them to do the job at that location, and then executing the content to launch it within half an hour.

Which in my mind is just mind blowing. 'cause I've sat on with companies trying to build those kind of products before. So I just wanted to, a couple of other good questions coming through. Um, and I. [00:42:00] Yeah, department level teams are just like a small business. It's, it's very true. Um, so, uh, Vivek, just on your question, around executing email outbound marketing campaigns, we're not there yet to fully automate it, but I mean, we use our email, all our email is written by known.

Um, we, we use it through our own product. So the automation isn't quite there, but, um, you can develop all the emails you need. We've just done all our, our new flows. Um, everything's set. It's all created within known. You know, the other thing that's worth. Worth considering is like we also have, you know, users, if you're working with a company from a sales perspective, you can drop into the system and talk to them directly and say like, you know, this is, I think I've forgotten what brand I'm in.

I'm in the peak fitness. I'm gonna go back to the, um, the designer just quickly. So I just wanna show you something. Um, you know, and we'll just drop into the assistant and we'll say, you know, I have a call with a [00:43:00] potential new client in the financial services industry. We're looking for a website redesign.

What should I consider telling them on the call? I. Now, bear in mind that the assistant knows all of our business. So as a result, when it gives us advice and guidance, um, it's gonna come back and give us advice like straight away how we should consider this. So we've got some users whose sales teams are using, known to talk to the assistant, um, to work out how to position their products, what we should talk through on the call aspects of it.

So it's not just like pure marketing, it's also sales, it's operations. It really is what we're building towards that kind of full business partner, um, across your entire business. You can even, uh, the other day I dropped into knowns version. I dropped in like the homepage of [00:44:00] uh, uh, brand. I liked the way they'd structured it and then I had just asked it to write the homepage copy for us as if it was our brand.

'cause I liked the sections and immediately it came back, dropped in the slack. Everybody liked it. We went, we went from there. So, um, can I upload a video? Not yet. But if you were to extract the, um. Uh, what's this? Upload a video and have your AI understand what we say in that video? Not yet. Um, we're not quite there yet, but you can see where we're going and that kind of space would be, would be totally possible.

Um, currently it's, it's just, uh, PDFs, docs, spreadsheets, um, all of those kind of things, but yeah. Um. We will move to kind of audio and potentially video, um, soon. So that's definitely possible. Um, and there was a question, a team would use the platform protect to be managed by the leader. Yes. So yeah, it's all, um, in settings.

Jason, I think as Mark and Markham answered that, it's really, really good question. So let me know, is there a way

Amie: on that note, is there a way to see who owns like a block or something? [00:45:00]

Neal: That's coming. So yeah. Okay. What you can see is you can see who's done what. Okay. So in latest updates here, everybody can see who's created what.

So these are largely gonna be me 'cause I've been the one using this, but also the assistant. Um, and we're adding over the next couple of months. And then I don't go too, I'll come back and demo this when we've got them, but. Agents based on this knowledge that go and deploy some of the things that people brought up in the chat, um, that's coming.

You're gonna start to see this latest update ticking over with agents and assistants executing these things for you. Um, so you can see who's done what. What we haven't got right now is like, who owns blocks and permissions of ownership? Uh, we will bring that in probably alongside comments, um, over the coming months.

'cause I think it's definitely something people have asked for. Um, and we're just focusing at the moment on adding more functionality around like the, uh, assistant control. And then, and then we'll come back and, and definitely add that. Um, if you do join, one of the things I would say is that. It is highly likely your business is like our business.

It's probably a bit smaller. [00:46:00] Um, all businesses I think are gonna be small over the next 10 years, even global companies. Um, but if features work for you, it's high chance, like the one Amy just suggested, they work for us and they work for our user base. So if you join, give us a shout. Let us know what features you're after.

Some of the features you're seeing in here, like notes. This was one that actually came out, just user feedback because people were like, I'm getting amazing things from the assistant. I wanna be able to do something with it, or we've made it available in notes. So if you, um, if you join and come on board, we can add you to the beta group.

Just let us know you're part of Ben's Bites. And then also, um, we can, uh, also just give us that feedback and we'll add, add those features, um, as they come through, if they scale for other people and work for other people. How long have we got? Alright. Any, any other questions? I think that's probably, probably me so far.

I think.

Amie: Yeah, I think we're all caught up on questions. Um, you've been incredibly thorough and, and Markham's been great in the chat, responding to people as well, which has been super helpful. [00:47:00] Um, awesome. So you said to look for API or, um, integrations rolling out soon and, um, yeah, that'll be,

Neal: yeah.

Integrations are coming imminently, um, as are, uh, more assistant control. So, you know, we are building for a world where you can talk to your company. That's essentially what our goal is. So you'll see more and more of what we're building is gonna be in that space. Um, and I think it's gonna get quite exciting when we start bringing some of those things and combining, you can imagine you're talking to your company, it's deploying things for you.

Um, I'm looking forward to kind of coming back and, and demoing that again when we, when we get to there. If you have me back anyway.

Amie: Yeah. Yes, of course. Um, I, well, what I love about, like most about this, just like the, um. The white labeling. Honestly, it's just been, uh, that's been the biggest like, use case for me, and it's been awesome, um, in terms of organizing, uh, kind of my task and everything.

So, um, yeah, I'm very excited to see where this [00:48:00] goes. And, and I, I think in terms. Subscriptions what you're asking. Um, I think you just need to look at like the work you're doing, um, in various tools and then you can view this as like a consolidation. So, um, personally I probably won't, I will subscribe to known Cat CBT Cloud Cursor, but my AI subscriptions are getting outta control, but I use them all for different things.

And so while um, I might not pay chat sweet tea. Anymore to help me with like brand positioning. I might still use it for like personal stuff. So I think it's just a personal, you know, uh, thing on like what you use these tools for. And I think, uh, someone mentioned in the chat, you don't have to, um, you don't have to have a LLN subscription to use known.

Um, you can use what is provided through this tool, but obviously if you are using AI beyond. A knowledge base, then you [00:49:00] might still have to pay for chat gbt. So I think it's just a personal thing you have to assess. Um,

Neal: yeah, definitely. I agree. I think what you're gonna see is just, you know, from our perspective, the, the control of your company.

From a, with a knowledge system, it's probably gonna become one of the most vital things over the next five years. Um, and it's just gonna fundamentally change the way that you think about organizing your knowledge. I think the days of having like 30,000 documents that are all random, which I've seen at like, you know, even small scale companies using certain platforms, um, they, they're just not helpful for, for controlling your business with ai.

So it's up to you depending on like how you run your business, what you do, you know, we've got designers who've thought about dropping some of their productivity tools for it. We've had others that have removed their knowledge system because of it. So it just, it just depends like what's, um, um, what's, what's right for your business, basically to Amy's point.

Amie: Yeah. And also, um, speed too. Like, I don't know if anyone's tried to write a brand guideline by hand or, or like old school style where you have to actually think through it all on [00:50:00] your own versus using, um, the assistance of ai. But, uh, it's hard to imagine going back so.

Neal: Oh, sorry. Go on Amy.

Amie: Oh no, no, go on.

Go.

Neal: I was just gonna say like some of the feedback we've had from users is 'cause no is also amazing on mobile. I've not shown you this, but it's incredible on mobile and we have users who are just out and about. 'cause a lot of people only in their businesses, they might be on the mood, they might be out and about.

You know, we have one user, she was camping and she just drove in Yosemite, I think it was, drove to get signal and banged out 25 different documents across partnerships and everything in like 15 minutes and messaged us to say. I've just done my work for like a week. Mm-hmm. And then I've sent it back and I'm done.

And that's it. We have people out and about using known. Um, I was with a user the other day here. I, I live in Portugal, a local user and just doing a feedback session and we were out and they were just showing me how they were doing operational stuff on, on their, um, on known. So it just depends. Like it's a very different experience.

Once you are on the move, using it on mobile, you can [00:51:00] do things that you just, to be honest, you just couldn't do before. And the beauty is, you know, if you create something, it's gonna be there on desktop if you wanna come back and edit it later. If you've need advice from the assistant on something, um, you can do it.

So, uh, what's that in the branded model? Can the consultant prove Yeah, they can, yeah. So you can actually, it's a great question that Jason actually, you can build out all of the knowledge and then you can just make that available straight away. So that's, that's exactly, um, uh, completely possible. So I think just for anybody who's, who's not, um, who missed that question, the question was.

In the branded model, can you build out the knowledge blocks, um, and then make it available with, uh, the brand and the answer? I'm just gonna go down to C-N-T-N-C company, which is the one that's got client mode attached. Um, the answer is yes. So what you'll then do is you'll come in as a consultant, you'll build out their strategy.

You can build out their product strategy. You can add all the relevant stacks that are right for them, the blocks complete them, and then you can go to create mode. Say, Hey, I'm gonna add the client. [00:52:00] And what you'll do is in this environment. You just wouldn't deploy. So there's a client onboarding form, um, and that would just show them their business knowledge that you've selected within client mode.

But that's it. They don't even get sent out if you don't need it. And then you can just give them the access to the dashboard and you can charge 'em as much as you want. We're, we are not bothered. So, you know, from, from your perspective, what we want to try and do is empower small business owners with ai.

And, um, if that's you, for example, and you're looking to make more revenue and you're a consultant, this is the way to do it because you can charge that client a hundred, 200, however much it is a month for their own AI powered dashboard. Um, and it can be powered by known and, and from our perspective that that's on our mission.

I think the other thing I just want to finish with Amy, if it's all right, is that, you know, we know that a lot of, um, jobs are gonna go from the top down, so. There'll be jobs from the top down that are gonna go if you implement AI at global companies. We truly believe in putting AI in the hands of smaller businesses because it gives [00:53:00] them literally superhuman powers, which is why we said superhuman business owner.

And we wanna try and grow that from the bottom up. So that's our, our goal. Can we transfer brands as a consultant? I build it out. Yes. Yes, you can. Um, you'll see here it says great question. Um, Mariana transfer ownership, you can transfer the brand in here, um, and transfer it to your client. This is currently a feature you just have to let us know.

If you're, if you are looking to do that, let us know and we'll, we'll add it for you. Um, it's coming to all users soon, but there's just a couple of things we have in the background that, um, we're just gonna tweak and, and change. Uh, but yeah, we can, we can put it there for you. So just let us know.

Amie: Awesome.

Um, yes, the recording will be available, uh, as soon as I get uploaded on, um, the workshops tab@finite.com. Um, but yeah. Thank you so much Neil. This has been, uh, great. Um. Jason asked how if they, if anyone has questions, [00:54:00] can they reach out to you?

Neal: They certainly can. Yeah. Hang on one second. I will drop my, uh, LinkedIn in number one.

That's always a, a quick way to get us, um, you can add me on LinkedIn. You can also, if you want a, a demo that's more relevant to you sector. Um, I will just put, hang on one second.
